Nickole felt like screaming. It was only the first day back and she was all ready in the library. Well I guess I did ask for it, she thought grumpily to herself. She normally enjoyed the Ravenclaw common room but recently she had played a few harmless pranks in there, and well her fellow students just didn’t seem to want her there today so she had fled to the library till they cooled down a bit. She grabbed one of the books on top of the pile of books in front of her, opened it and started reading the words written on the page. She had been reading for ten minutes when she got the feeling she was being watched. She looked up quickly and looked around and sighed angrily. No one was watching her she was just being paranoid.
She turned her attention back to the book and after a few minutes felt like hitting her head against the table out of sheer frustration. The words in the book seemed to be dancing across the page, making absolutely no sense at all. "Ugh" she muttered to herself wondering how she had gotten herself into this situation. She snapped the book shut out of frustration and looked around, still feeling as though she was being watched. The library was completely empty. She shivered. The library seemed eerie and spooky when it was empty.
Nickole couldn't even see the librarian from where she was sitting. She felt a chill and wrapped her robes around her in an attempt to keep warm. She shook her head and figured that she was acting stupid. It was just because she wasn’t use to being alone, there was always someone around her, so it just felt odd being alone. She turned her attention back to the book in front of her and decided to throw it on the pile of rejected books; this book would get her nowhere. She grabbed another book from her first pile and after a few minutes of reading found exactly what she was looking for, or at least a book that seemed a tiny bit interesting.
She began skimming the book furiously hoping that she hadn’t been mistaken. She paused to read parts of the book every now and again. After about half an hour Nickole decided that the book was indeed what she was looking for and glancing around for the librarian tucked it into her bag. "Phew" she said softly and leaned back in her chair relaxing for a bit. At least I’ll have a book to read now if for some odd reason my fellow students decided to turn on me again, she thought to herself. She grabbed all the rejected books and reshelfed them. She then headed back to where she had left her bag. As she bent down to pick it up she felt eyes on her back again and whipped around. There couldn’t see anyone but she knew they were there. “Where are you? Come out and show yourself?” she said craning her neck to see if she could spot anyone as she shouldered her black and red messenger bag.

Nickole about jumped out of her skin when she heard someone speaking to her. It turned out to the librarian which only made it worse. She muttered a quite “Yes Ma’ma,” after she was told she needed to be quite. As the librarian walked down another aisle, she rolled her eyes and muttered to herself. “Oh yeah I’ll be quite. Right after I set off a whole bunch of fireworks in here!” Just as she was finishing the last word she saw the librarian return and mentally slapped herself. Should have known that she wouldn’t have left that easy. Did she hear me? She wondered. The glare she got proved that at least some of her words had been overheard. Deciding not to give the librarian a chance to kick her out she got up and swung her bag over her shoulder waving sarcastically to the librarian. As she walked by her she blew her a kiss and then laughed when she saw the evil look she got. Stop pressing your luck Nickole, she though to herself as she passed a bookshelf near by.
Nickole looked down the aisle as she passed and saw a few steps away a girl just getting about to leave. I knew somebody was watching me. She took a few quick steps, her bag slapping her leg lightly as she went and just as the girl turned to leave placed a hand lightly on her shoulder. “Why were you watching me? You got me in a heap of trouble you know that.” She said her bright green eyes drilling into a spot just beside her hand. She didn’t like people watching her especially if she didn’t know there reason. She also didn’t practically like getting in trouble, even if it wasn’t a heap as she had told the girl.

" I was wanting for you to put that book back on the shelf so i could get it."
Melissa was never good at making up excuses. She was in a bind and need to get out, but how. she stood there waiting for the girl to responed to her statement. "When you get done with the book will you let me know." Melissa was about to turn and leave when to Libraian approach them.
"Ladies, I don't want to give you both detention but if you both don't leave you'll be out past curfew. now get."
They both turn and leaf the library. when they reached the outside Melissa turn going down stairs and the firl turn going up stairs. melissa her the girl say something but couldn't make out what she was saying.

Nickole watched the girl with unblinking eyes. That wasn't the reason she had been watching her she was sure of that but maybe she shouldn't bring it up. When the librarian told them to get out she just sighed and decided to leave it though and turned to leave as any good student would.
"Yeah you can have the book when I'm done I guess." she said to the girl and then relized that she probably wasn't even close enough to hear. "Oh well I'll just find it and give it to her latter." she muttered to herself as she walked. She didn't want to head back to the common room yet though even if it would mean a detetion for staying out past curfew if she got caught. Instead she followed the girl for a few steps and found a place where she could sit without being seen by anyone passing by and flopped down into the hidding spot.
