Audrey is very much the odd one out in her small family (except housewise), but despite that she’s closest to her father. She’s very accepting of others, even muggleborns, which surprises people considering her family and Slytherin tendencies. People tend to think she’s quiet, but most of the time when she’s quiet she’s scheming in her mind. She has a sharp mind for details and as such is a good person to have on your side. If she doesn’t like you, you know it. You will be on the receiving end of her sharp tongue and stinging sarcasm. On the other hand if she hates you you would never know it until it was too late. She really does live by ‘keep your friends close and keep your enemies closer.’
She also lives by the Slytherin code taught to her by her parents from when they were in school. Basically that is: 1. Slytherin’s Stick Together – Slytherin’s can have their fights inside the common room, but must protect each other when outside. And 2. Always Slytherin – No matter if you’ve graduated rule one continues to apply because Slytherin is not an age, but a mindset. She knows that not all Slytherin’s continue to abide by this code, but she sees it as worthwhile. Underneath her somewhat cold exterior Audrey is a loving, caring girl with a thirst for money and power. At the same time she also wants to help people with any money and power she gains, but only if she feels they deserve it.

detailed history
Audrey was born to Draco and Astoria Malfoy while visiting Astoria’s sister Daphne. She was born quite early, but thanks to the emergency healers suffered no ill effects. After her birth her mother and father had to go away for a month and could only visit by floo everyone in awhile. Therefore the first month of her life was spent with her Aunt Daphne and brother Scorpius. When her parents returned Audrey immediately attached herself to her father who she has been attached to ever since. She really is a daddy’s girl. It took her longer to reacquaint herself with her mother and they never have shared as close a bond as people expect a mother and daughter to have.
She had her first spurt of accidental magic when she was 3. Scorpius, who was 6 at the time, was exceedingly jealous as he still had not shown any signs of magic. Though they had had him tested and knew that he had it inside him somewhere. Growing up both children always had the finest tutors. Audrey showed signs of strength in potions and mind magic, while Scorpius proved himself an exceptional dueller and had a way with transfiguration. Scorpius finally showed signs of magic at age 7 and Audrey was so happy for her big brother that he knew he could never hate her.
When Scorpius left for Hogwarts it felt like Audrey lost a piece of her soul. For the first little bit she became a bit depressed, but soon cheered as he wrote to her regularly and she discovered that she could tease him for ending up in Ravenclaw. He was the first Malfoy to be anything other than Slytherin... ever. His whole family was surprised at the placement and worried about where Audrey would be placed when her time came, but they were worrying for nothing. The discovered the the Sorting Hat had considered Slytherin for Scorpius, but decided Ravenclaw was a better fit for Scorpius lacked the ambition of Slytherin. During the years between Scorpius’ entrance to school and Audrey’s she studied harder than ever before wanting to know everything that Scorpius learnt as well. She was excited beyond words when her time came to enter Hogwarts and hopped on the Express merrily.
When Audrey arrived at Hogwarts the hat again made a decision between Ravenclaw and Slytherin, but her lust for money and power, not to mention her loftly ambitions and family background made her a perfect fit for Slytherin. Her parents were so proud and so was she. Audrey walked around head held high in her Slytherin robes and continues to do so to this day. As predicted she excelled in Potions and discovered a knack for Herbology which practically goes hand in hand with it. She continued to struggle with Charms, but on the plus side she’s often used her legilimancy skills to figure out the perfect gift to bribe her Charms professor with in order to maintain decent standing in the class. Unfortunately her occlumency skills have gotten slightly rusty from disuse though she tries to continue to practice on her own.

Audrey stepped into the racket of the Great Hall. She walked quickly past the other houses towards the Slytherin table only almost tripping once. She slipped into a seat near the end where she could hear the conversations of some of the older students, not that these particular girls ever talked about anything interesting. She paid half attention until she heard her brother’s name come up. Ew, someone has a crush on Scorpius, she thought to herself wishing she had chosen another seat this particular day. After the giggling girls exited the Hall Audrey stood pulling her bag onto her shoulder. She made a mental note to herself to keep an eye on her brother and the girl so that if they decided to date she would have something new to tease him about and then she turned and headed off to her first period DADA lesson.
