Marcus opened the door to the shop and peered around for a moment before moving in. There were not that many people within the shop, which suited him fine. He had no real desire to come to the shop when it was crowded as it always was around school time. Oh, he did not mind the occasional crowd, but today he would much prefer to explore without being bombarded by screaming children, yelling students, or scowling parents. Not today, anyway.
Marcus moved deeper into the shop and looked around at all the shelves of books, breathing in deeply. He loved the smell of books, of this shop. It smelled like knowledge, care, slightly musty, just the way he liked it. He smiled slightly. Books had always been his weakness.
Marcus was currently taking a break from his patrol. He had been in the area, he could not remember why he had been sent here, but Marcus had decided he wanted to stop by Flourish and Blotts to find a book for his daughter. He was trying to teach her the appreciation and love he himself had for books. So far, for a little 10-year old it was working, although the books had to have the pictures that 'made the story come to life.' She was 10 years old and still preferred the books that enacted the story rather than using her imagination to see it. But that was okay, Marcus still had some time to change her mind before she was off to Hogwarts himself.
Marcus paused a moment, clenching his fists, remembering that his son should have been starting Hogwarts this year. Marcus should be in this shop to get books for his son's very first year. But he had been taken from him, murdered with his wife. Marcus briefly shut his eyes and breathed deeply to try to ease the pain that was gripping his chest. He would not lose it in the middle of a bookstore, it had been some years since that night, and he would have control.
Once he thought he had it, he turned abruptly to go to another shelf, but only managed to bump into another person. Scowling inwardly at himself, Marcus shot a hand out to try to catch the person before he or she fell over. [/font]

Izabella smiled softly as she walked down the streets of Diagon Ally. There was a slight breeze just enough to blow her hair back but the sun was shinning, much to her delight. She was wearing one of her unique outfit, a bright purple dress with black leggings, along with bright yellow rain boots and of course a bright yellow scarf tied loosely around her neck. She had left her robes at home, feeling claustrophobic in the things in this weather. The day was actually going relatively well in her opinion. So far she hadn’t seen any of her students. It wasn’t that she disliked her students but she liked to have her time off away from them as much as any other adult did.
Finally Izabella stopped walking and looked up at the sign above the door, Flourish & Blotts, one of her favorite shops. She pulled the door open, stepping through as she inhaled deeply, relishing the smell of the books. Her brother had laughed at her whenever she did this, but she couldn’t help it. New books smelt amazing to her. She looked around; trying to remember what she had wanted in here. This always seemed to happen when she entered this shop. She would enter and completely forget what she had even come to buy then leave the store with a pile of books none of them the one she had actually need. Her brow furrowed and she worked, pulling the books of the shelves that looked at all interesting. She looked a bit dazed as she scanned the shelves; people probably thought she was out of it or something.
She browsed the selves smiling at the brilliant array of colors. Most people wouldn’t see it but if you looked at the different colored spines of the books you could imagine you were looking through a kaleidoscope. As she ran her finger along the spine of a book, one she had loved as a child, her bright green eyes lit up with mirthful glitter.
Finally leaving the childhood book behind, she turned slowly, to head to another shelf, hopping to add another book to her all ready growing pile. As she turned though she felt the weight of someone else collide with her. The bump sent her off balance and flying off balance along with her books. She saw the person reach out to grab her and tried to grab his hand but missed it as she fell. She landed on the floor with a thud. She looked up from her spot on the floor and noticed a man standing over her. The whole situation, reminded her of something that would have happened in her 3rd year. She started laughing at the though of how clumsy she was then and smiled up at the man. “Sorry about that. I guess you never grow out of your clumsiness. This is all my fault.” She said as she surveyed the damage. The only thing askew was her books which had flown everywhere when she fell. “By the way I’m Izabella Rivera. And this is about the oddest way I’ve ever met someone in my life.” she said laughing again as she smiled up at him, before turning to begin picking up the books.
