Despite the death of Sirius Black at the end of last year, Harry Potter's world has done little to slow down and grant him enough time to get over his godfather's death. Instead, he is plunged back into reality as he realizes that his battle with Lord Voldemort may be closer than he believed. As the sixth year begins, Dumbledore slowly begins to prepare Harry for the inevitable battle that must occur between him and Voldemort. Unfortunately, worrying about Voldemort isn't the only problem on Harry's agenda this year. Instead, other evils have made home inside of Hogwarts. Along with Ron and Hermione's constant bickering and each facing jealous rages, and Harry's ever growing feelings toward his best mate's little sister, Ginny, Harry has more than enough on his plate without Dark Lord infiltrating his minions within Hogwarts.
Draco Malfoy, after Lucius' failure to retrieve the prophecy, has been 'awarded' a mission granted by the Dark Lord himself to kill Dumbledore and gain the Deatheaters access into Hogwarts. Harry, despite Ron and Hermione's reassurances, suspects Malfoy is clearly up to something, but fears to act upon his instinct before he can get some solid evidence. But Malfoy is not the only student Harry should be worry about. Three new students have arrived, each loyal servents to Lord Voldemort. Their mission is simple: Break up the Golden Trio and make sure Malfoy succeeds in his mission and die trying. The charming Ravenclaw boy, using the built-up chemistry between Ron and Hermione to his advantage, wedges himself in between the two, trying to gain the attention of the smart Hermione Granger, while leaving a jealous, angry Ron behind. Even a seed has been placed in Gyffindor in the form of a girl as she tries to befriend the already suspicious Harry Potter and forcing his own feelings to be caught in a whirlwand. Finally, the last member of this evil trio, the Hufflepuff girl must keep Draco Malfoy on track, but her own feelings for the Slytherin Prince may just get in the way of the original plan. Can the Golden Trio survive this year? Or will they put too much trust on the newcomers and find themself trapped? This journey is truly going to be difficult as they must endure...
